<p class="MsoNormal">Late last year, we circulated a document
for community input on possible options for GBIF to
standardise the licensing of data within the GBIF network. We
are grateful to all of those who responded. Since this is a
critical issue for so many of our Participants data
publishers, and an essential area in which GBIF needs to
provide appropriate leadership, we are now issuing a further
consultation to seek comments on a proposal for how we should
now proceed. Full information, and a form for use when

This will be used when we issue documents like this for
community response. We will also update this page with links
to responses received and to final summary reports. We trust
that this will increase understanding and transparency around
such activities and will make it easier for the whole
community to follow the development of GBIF’s plans.<o:p></o:p></p>
