GBIF is asking Participants and other stakeholders to review and
assess a draft set of priorities for the GBIF Strategic Plan
2017-2021.<br class="">
<br class="">
The Science Committee and the Nodes Steering Group have assisted
the development of the current draft, which is intended to outline
the structure of a clear, concise final document capable of
guiding the next phase of work across the GBIF network. We intend
to present a draft plan to the GBIF Governing Board for review and
approval in October 2015.<br class="">
<br class="">
The attached draft priorities (also available here: <a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://www.gbif.org/resource/82114"
class="">http://www.gbif.org/resource/82114</a>) aim to build on
GBIF’s progress to date and target the most important areas for
the network to consolidate its activity and enhance the value of
its products and services.
