<P><SPAN lang=en-us><FONT face=Arial size=2>The European Commission has launched
a public consultation on Invasive Alien Species in order get views of individual
citizens, industry / consumer representatives, NGOs etc. on the scale of
IAS problems and on how to address them most effectively at European
level.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=en-us><FONT face=Arial size=2>The consultation will take place
from<B> 3 March 2008 until 5 May 2008</B>. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN lang=en-us><FONT face=Arial size=2>The results of this consultation
will be used in the development of EU policy in the field of Invasive Alien
Species.</FONT></SPAN> <BR><SPAN lang=en-us><FONT face=Arial size=2>We therefore
