Dear GBIF friends,

I'm pleased to circulate the draft *GBIF Work Programme for 2020* (see
annex) that will be discussed and approved at GB26, 21-23 October in
Leiden. Should you have any comments on it, please let me know before mid-
September.

After almost 20 years of experience, *GBIF Value* will be under the
scrutiny of all funding countries. During the 26th Governing Board each
participating country and organization will be invited to speak on this
subject.
Therefore we invite you to answer this quick survey
<https://forms.gle/XNBzWpwNV6Re3cM3A> in order to prepare the Belgian
position on GBIF added-value. This will not take more than 10 minutes of
your time.

Last but not least, *GBIF Science Review 2019*
<https://www.gbif.org/document/5Lja8XKRwQDwbhxddOWjtm/gbif-science-review-2019>
is now available on GBIF website. Please spread this news to your
colleagues and relevant networks.

Hoping you had fabulous summer holidays, I wish you all the best and hope
to hear from you soon.
