Dear colleague,
The Biodiversity Institute of the University of Oxford will be holding its second symposium - "Biodiversity Technologies" - on the 27th and 28th of September, 2012

The symposium will bring together over 25 speakers - presenting the latest research and developments in biodiversity technologies that are used in wide variety of settings and applications.

The symposium topics include: bioacoustic technologies, citizen science and mapping, novel ways of field data collection, and genetic technologies and genomic observatories that broaden understanding of biodiversity. There will also be presentations that look at the ways in which these diverse technologies can change behaviours and encourage new thinking.

Please do register as soon as possible:  places are limited. There is an Early Bird registration fee available until August 16th of £80 for the two days. Accommodation in Oxford colleges can also be booked through the symposium website.
