[ECA] IPBES: Report IPBES Belgian Uptake event now available

Dear all,

I am pleased to share the report of the IPBES Belgian Uptake Event
<https://www.biodiversity.be/4659/download> that took place on 1st October
2018 (attached).

This event intended to clarify the role and activities of IPBES
<http://www.ipbes.net>. It also shed light on the impact research can have
on the policy. During this event, participants also discussed what we can
do in concrete terms improve the state of biodiversity in the Regions
(Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels) based on the recommendations from the
European and Central Asia Assessment. In this report, you will find the
list of recommendations proposed by the participants of the event.

Note that a translation of the report in Dutch and French will be
circulated later.
