Dear invasive species expert,

By now, we received 17 responses from this IAS community and we would like
to thank all of you who contributed to this exercise as well as for the
feedback we received on the survey itself (which is most welcome). However,
we are aiming at reaching at least 30 reponses. Hence this reminder.

Please also note that it is possible to interrupt the questionnaire and
fill it in several sessions within a one week timeframe and from the same
IP address.

We will also send it to the Aliens-L list to increase the response rate.
Therefore, apologies for any cross-posting.

Thank you very much for your kind cooperation !

Kind regards,

Pieter Boets, Sander Jacobs, Jos Van Winckel and Tim Adriaens

The general aim of this survey is to quantify ecosystem services impacts of
a selection of invasive alien species through a multiple expert scoring
exercise and to describe general patterns across taxa/regions/habitats

.

This research can
inform
the species listing process of the new EU Regulation on the prevention and
management of the introduction and spread of invasive alien species (EU
regulation No 1143/2014).
 The research
is supervised by the laboratory for Environmental Toxicology and Aquatic
Ecology of Ghent University (UGent) and the Research Institute for Nature
and Forest (INBO).

Instructions to the survey can be found in the introductory pages. Filling
out the survey should not take more than 30 minutes. Do not hesitate to get
in touch in case of further questions. Feel free to forward this survey to
your colleagues.

Thank you very much for your kind cooperation !
