From tim.adriaens at inbo.be Thu Jun 21 21:40:48 2018 From: tim.adriaens at inbo.be (Tim Adriaens) Date: Thu, 21 Jun 2018 21:40:48 +0200 Subject: [Invasive-species] survey on perception of biological control against invasive weeds Message-ID: Dear list members, on behalf of Suzanne Lommen I send this survey to the list. Regards Tim ******** Dear colleagues, We kindly ask for your help and invite you to participate in a survey on *perception of biological control against non-native invasive plants (invasive weeds)*. This survey is intended to gather information on perceptions of classical biological control of invasive weeds among scientists, practitioners and policy makers. Biological control involves the identification and release of natural enemies, normally arthropods or fungi, from the native range of the invasive plant/weed for the permanent control of the target weed in the invaded range. The survey has up to 20 short questions and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. All feedback provided is anonymous and will be treated confidentially. The results will be presented at the XV International Symposium on Biological Control of Weeds in August this year. *Link to survey:* https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/9GB3H7S We really appreciate if you could complete the survey *before July 4th*. With kind regards, Richard Shaw (CABI), Elizabete Marchante (University of Coimbra), H?lia Marchante (Instituto Polit?cnico de Coimbra), Laura Verbrugge (University Twente), Suzanne Lommen (Leiden University) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
