welcome. *Please send them to h.eggermont at biodiversity.be *by 8 January*,
using the attached review sheet

In addition to the review of the online catalogue, you are also invite to
share your work and experiences and to submit any relevant policy
instruments, policy support tools and methodologies, case studies, and

EM/2017/34

Dear IPBES Members, Observers and Stakeholders,

We would like to invite you to review the further developed version of the
prototype online catalogue of policy support tools and methodologies, and
to submit, for inclusion in the catalogue, relevant policy instruments,
policy support tools and methodologies, case studies, and learning
opportunities.

Following decision IPBES-5/1
<https://ipbes.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&id=a392af8b7d&e=fe2a129752>,
the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel, supported by a reconstituted
task-specific expert group on policy support tools and methodologies, has
further develop the catalogue in cooperation with relevant international
processes and interested partners.

The catalogue is accessible at the following link:
https://www.ipbes.net/policy-support
Since the catalogue is still under development it is not yet publicly
accessible and therefore access will be given to those that request it
following this link: https://www.ipbes.net/psr
<https://ipbes.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&id=763f70c7a7&e=fe2a129752>.
Note that you would need to be signed in with your IPBES account in order
to request access (should you not yet have such an account, please register
here: https://www.ipbes.net/user/register
<https://ipbes.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&id=d841772c0b&e=fe2a129752>
).

For the review of the catalogue we are interested in feedback in particular
with respect to: (i) content of the web pages and various elements of the
catalogue, (ii) the structure of the website and its navigation, and (iii)
the functionalities offered by the catalogue (e.g. the search options,
interlinkages provided, and the process to upload further content). We
would appreciate your feedback *no later than 19 January 2018*, and would
request you to use the following template (click here to download
<https://ipbes.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&id=8fc64c1904&e=fe2a129752>)
for your response.

In addition to the review of the online catalogue, we would like to invite
you to share your work and experiences and to submit any relevant policy
instruments, policy support tools and methodologies, case studies, and
learning opportunities for inclusion in the catalogue. To upload any such
content please follow this link: https://www.ipbes.net/policy-
support/add-content
<https://ipbes.us8.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&id=ce00d3c680&e=fe2a129752>,
or click the “Add Content” button in the menu on the right hand side of the
catalogue, following which more detailed guidance is provided on how to
upload content. Further, should you have any relevant expertise regarding a
specific policy instrument or policy support tool, we would like to invite
you to register yourself as individual or organisation as expert(s) by
ticking the indicated link. As a result, you would be added to the
community of practice for the respective policy instrument or policy
support tool (note that you need to have an IPBES account for this).

We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and input in order to
further improve this beta version of the online catalogue of policy support
tools and methodologies.

Yours sincerely,

Anne Larigauderie | Executive Secretary

Services
